We are not attached to a particular denomination, and consider ourselves non-denominational.
People of various denominations are welcome to join us, as long as they respect our Statement of Faith, which is the following:
Not all translations are created the same, and it is left up to the individual to deduce, at their own discretion and research, what version(s) of the Bible should be utilized.
( Deut. 11:18; 2 Tim. 2:15; 2 Tim. 3:16; 1 Pet. 1:20-21; Rev. 22:18-19 )God is all-powerful, all-knowing, and has perfect wisdom.
( Deut. 32:4; Job 38-41; Isa. 46:9-10; Psalm 139:16; Prov. 2:6; Heb. 4:13 )God exists as a Trinity: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit.
All three predate time and creation, are of the same essense, and possess equal authority.
( Gen. 1:26; Gen. 1:2; Deut. 6:4; Isa. 9:6; John 1:1–5; John 10:30; 1 Cor. 8:6; Phil. 2:5–6; Col. 2:8-9; 1 John 5:7-8 )Every person who has committed a conscious sin in the sight of God have fallen short of earning salvation.
They must accept God's gift of atonement through Jesus's sacrifice, and express genuine repentance, to receive salvation and avoid "damnation".
( John 3:16, 36; John 14:6; Rom. 3:23; Acts 17:30; Eph. 2:8; 1 John 1:9; Rev. 3:19 )The Word of God is the ultimate source of morality.
What God deems as evil is evil, and what God deems as good is good.
We are expected as Christians to continue seeking "goodness" over "evil". Consciously refusing to do so may put us at risk of experiencing potential discipline from God.
We are not to "mock" God's gift to us by continuing to sin.
( Isa. 5:20; Matt. 7:21; Rom. 3:31; Rom. 12:2; 1 Cor. 3:12-13; Gal. 6:7; 2 Tim. 3:16; Rev. 2:12-16 )At some time in the future, God will cleanse and remake the earth, and the faithful will reign on earth with Jesus for 1,000 years.
( 2 Pet 3:1-7; Rev. 20:4; Rev. 21:3; )Humility, respect, peace, discernment, and a desire to uplift are our most important tools to settle any divisions or conflicts that arise between us.
We reserve the right to shut down discussions that are not being driven by these virtues.
( Matt. 7:12; Gal. 5:22-23; Gal. 6:2; Phil. 2:3-4; Eph. 4:2; 1 Thess. 5:21; 1 John 4:1; 1 Pet 2:17; 1 Pet 5:5 )This Statement of Faith is not intended to be exhaustive, and is just a basis to maintain Christian integrity.
Any civil questions or comments about the Statement of Faith should be directed at our email connect.ciya@gmail.com.

If they are not a Christian, or of a Christian sect that may disagree with some of the points in the Statement of Faith (Catholics, Jehovah Witnesses, LDS, etc.), they are welcome to join us as long as they respect the morals and views of this group.
Sure I guess, why not? ┐(´ᴗ `)┌
Please be mindful that this group is intended to be a comfortable environment for introverts specifically, and the facilitation of this group will be centered around that.
If you're an extrovert looking for a lot of random peppy chatting, this is probably not the group for you. ^^"
Definitely!
The best place I can see your thoughts would be in the Discord group here... https://discord.gg/APjSytwSUn
Absolutely.
We plan on hosting Discord events along with the in-person stuff, so feel free to join the Discord group so you don't miss out. ;)
Oi back at ya. :P
I really appreciate your offer, but um- not at the moment?
Right now I have enough money to keep the lights on, but if things change, I'll post something about it.
If I need funding for a bigger thing, like paying for a group of us to go camping, relax at some retreat, or attend a more expensive event, then I'll ask if anyone wants to contribute.
All messages about our group can be sent to connect.ciya@gmail.com, my phone contact 989-473-6499, or to my Discord handle @lia_thecaretaker.
We hope to CIYA soon!
But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
